Have you
been dreaming about the opportunities that will happen by being a PGS
graduate Gunsmith?
But felt these opportunities to be totally out of your reach because of
your
financial situation? Many people who
would love to attend PGS and fulfill their dreams give up on the idea
of furthering
their
education and increasing their skills because they feel that they
cannot afford the training. As far
as
they are concerned, MONEY CLOSES THE DOOR.
We want to
suggest some ways you might OPEN THOSE DOORS by discussing the
possibility of student financial aid at PGS. You should be aware that
millions
of students across the U.S. apply for financial assistance every year
and
receive funds to make their education possible. Before you decide you
can't
afford PGS's Gunsmith training, take a few minutes to consider whether
you can
afford not to further your education. Statistics show that persons who
receive
training beyond high school make one of the best investments that can
be made
in terms of lifetime income. Like any investment, it takes time to
decide what
is the best route to take. You have made the first step by inquiring
about PGS.
Invest a few minutes more to see what sources of aid might be available
to you.
Listed below are the types of financial aid
programs
available at PGS (financial aid available to those who qualify):
- Federal Pell Grant Program
- Pennsylvania State Grant Program (for PA residents
only)
- Federal Stafford Student Loans (FFEL - Federal
Family Education Loan Program)
- Federal Parent Loans to Undergraduate Students
(PLUS)
- Veterans Administration Vocational Rehabilitation
Program (Chapter 31)
- Veterans Benefits (GI Bill, EAP, TAP, DEAP)
- State Vocational Rehabilitation Training Programs
- Workforce Investment Act Program
- Private Educational Loan Programs
Our
experience shows that most people who want to attend PGS will find a
way
through financing and after school employment.
